A passerby saw the injured cat Tuesday evening about 7pm on the side of the road on Herndon near Clovis Community Hospital, and, thinking it was dead, stopped to pick it up. It was not, so intending to seek help for it, he brought the cat to family at Whitney/Trenton in Fresno. Unfortunately, the cat was scared and escaped the car when the driver opened the door. Its right rear leg is injured, and it limps along without using it. The last he saw, it went across Whitney. Then we saw it on our Ring video in front of our house at Whitney/Utah on Wednesday morning. We saw it curled up in the corner of our back yard and tried to approach it, but it squeezed through an opening between the fence and house and we have not been able to see it in person since. However, we saw it limping from house to house in our Ring video on Wednesday night. Neighbors have been notified.
